TED: Have you checked out TED before? TED is devoted to spreading ideas, usually video clips, in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). Below are two TED talks to get you started, talks that are very much in tune with the leadership courses we offer at Think Do & Grow. Simply search for the titles below in the search bar on TED. Film tips: If you want something a bit more relaxing then why not check out these two films. “The Pursuit of Happiness” (2006) is based on a true story telling of one mans’ journey to create a better life for himself and his son. Memorable line from this film: “I am not what happened to me, I am what I chose to become” “The Founder” (2016). The story of the man who built up McDonalds, but he wasn’t the man who started the company. Was Ray Kroc a business genius or was he a ruthless villain? You decide… Memorable line from film: “You know what – contracts are like hearts, they are made to be broken”
